Install Google Authenticator App on your mobile device

You can download the google authentication application app onto your mobile phone or tablet. This application is available on android and IOS. 


Enable Microsoft Multi-Factor Authentication

Activate Multi-Factor Authentication on Microsoft Account

  • Log in to your Microsoft account.
  • Click on your profile icon at the top right corner of the screen. 

  • After that If you see the following message click on Next.

  • And you should be presented with another message as below. 

  • And then click on I want to use a different authenticator app to use the Google Authenticator app for this and click Next.
  • You should see a QR code to scan.

  • Scan this QR code with the Google Authenticator app. and click Next.

  • Microsoft will ask for OTP (One Time Password) from the Google Authenticator app to verify. Key in the OTP shown in the Google authenticator app under Microsoft Account.

  • Click Done to complete.

For new device logins, you’ll need your Account password and the 6-digit code from Authenticator (changes every 30 seconds).
