TSP Asset Management - Bandung Office
Objective
To ensure the security and proper storage of TSP assets assigned to staff members, this Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) outlines guidelines for Bandung office staff members regarding the storage and handling of their TSP laptops.
Scope
This SOP applies to all Bandung office staff who are issued with TSP assets e.g. TSP laptops, TechPass laptops, client’s laptops and tokens.
Physical Security Measures for Laptops
- Before using the laptop, attach the laptop lock to the designated slot behind the laptop monitor. Then connect the other end of the lock to a secure anchor point on the desk.
- Whenever the laptop is in use, the laptop lock must be engaged to secure it to the desk.
- When not in use, the laptop lock should be disengaged carefully to avoid any significant damage. Then put the laptop into the designated locker.
Laptop Storage Location
Staff members with TSP assets will be assigned a locker each to store and safeguard the assets in the Bandung office. This staff member will be the person in charge (PIC) of the locker.
The locker is labeled with the corresponding staff member’s name.
It is prohibited to bring TSP assets outside the Bandung office without explicit authorization from the higher management.
Locker Access
- Staff members are responsible for securing their assigned lockers properly.
- The locker key should be safeguarded by the locker PIC and not shared with others.
- Lockers should be kept locked at all times.
Reporting Procedures
In case of any loss, damage, or suspected unauthorized access to the TSP assets, staff members must report the incident immediately to the IT Operations Team by raising a ticket via YouTrack TSP Helpdesk.
Staff members should also report any malfunction or technical issues with their TSP assets promptly, by raising a ticket via YouTrack TSP Helpdesk.
